Background

About the Dell Latitude 120L

Introduced 2006

Dell's Latitude 120L was a budget business laptop of 2006 and the successor to the Latitude 110L. It was closely related to the consumer Inspiron B120 and B130, sharing their simple widescreen design with Intel Celeron M or Pentium M processors and integrated graphics, and it was sold where price mattered more than the durability and docking features of the D series.

It stood apart from the main Latitude range of its day, lacking the D-family docking connector and modular bay. Its AMD-based follow-up was the Latitude 131L. Small businesses and education buyers were the intended customers. Expect the usual age-related faults: a spent battery, a slow or failing hard drive and worn hinges.
