Is it worth upgrading my PC?
An upgrade is often a cheaper way to speed up a computer than buying a new one. We fit memory, SSDs and processor upgrades, and we'll tell you honestly whether an upgrade is worth it for your machine.
Swapping a mechanical hard drive for an SSD usually makes the biggest difference. An SSD has no moving parts and reads data many times faster, so Windows starts and programs open much more quickly. More memory helps most when the PC slows down with several programs or browser tabs open.
How much does a PC repair cost?
PC diagnosis and repair starts from £79 + VAT. Virus removal starts from £79 + VAT, and SSD and hard drive replacement from £210 + VAT. We quote before any work, and nothing is repaired until you agree the price.
How long does a PC repair take?
Most repairs are done the same day. Walk in with your computer, or book online and we'll reply with a price and a drop-off time, usually the same working day.
