Background

About the Dell Studio 1435

Dell Studio 1435 is one of the 14-inch models in Dell's Studio consumer family, which ran from 2008 to 2011 between the Inspiron and XPS ranges. It is far less widely documented than the Studio 15 and Studio 17 machines that opened the line, or than the later Studio 14 models numbered 1450, 1457 and 1458, and appears to have been offered only in certain markets.

Like the rest of the early Studio family it is a Core 2 Duo era home and student laptop, with the range's emphasis on multimedia features and coloured lids in a more portable size. Any surviving example is well over a decade old, so a faded battery and an ageing mechanical hard drive are to be expected.
