About the Dell Vostro 3300

Sold 2010–2011

In March 2010 Dell replaced its whole Vostro laptop range with the 3000-series, and the Dell Vostro 3300 was the 13.3-inch model. The new machines dropped the plain black plastic of earlier Vostros for an aluminium-skinned casing offered in several colours, and moved to Intel's first-generation Core processors.

The 3300 was sold with Core i3 and Core i5 chips, using Intel HD Graphics or an optional NVIDIA GeForce 310M with 512 MB. It was the portable option for small-business users, below the 14-inch 3400 and 15.6-inch 3500, and was followed in 2011 by the Vostro 3350. It has since been discontinued, and its batteries and hard drives are well past their intended service life.
