What to bring
- The drive, or the whole laptop or computer if you are not sure how to remove it
- For external drives, the drive in its original case with its cable
- For RAID and NAS systems, all the drives, labelled with their bay positions if removed
- A list of the files and folders that matter most
Before you travel
If the drive has been dropped, is making noises or has been wet, switch it off and keep it off. Put a wet drive in a sealed bag and bring it in as it is.
