Background

About the Apple MacBook Air 13.3" MC233LL

Sold 2009–2010

June 2009 brought a modest update to the original MacBook Air design, and MC233LL was its entry model. It runs a 1.86 GHz Core 2 Duo, the speed previously reserved for the top configuration, with a 120 GB 1.8-inch hard drive, 2 GB of memory and GeForce 9400M graphics. Apple included an external USB Ethernet adapter, since the machine has no network socket.

The Apple MacBook Air 13.3" MC233LL stayed on sale for sixteen months, until the redesigned Air of October 2010. It belongs to the last Air generation with a single USB port, and it was the last Air sold with a mechanical hard drive.
