How we fix your IBM ThinkPad

A working drive with deleted or corrupted files, or one formatted by mistake, is a logical recovery. Clicking or undetected drives are physical recoveries. Hard drives are opened in our clean room, sometimes with parts from a matching donor drive. We return your files on a new drive or copy them onto your repaired IBM.
How long it takes
Deleted file recoveries usually take up to two hours of work. Larger logical recoveries take 24 to 48 hours, and physical recoveries depend on the drive's condition, so we give you an estimate after the diagnosis.
Good to know: Switch off a failing drive straight away and don't run recovery software on it. Every restart can destroy more data.
